Re: Cardinal points

Bernard, I found the click drag a little cumbersome as well, but then I realized it's best to consider that feature secondary to [ctrl]-scrollwheel to easily zoom out a little, then center (right click) and scroll-zoom right back in on your area of interest. I only use the drag move to change the sk...

Compensating for sensor tilt

Hamza, first of all I have to say Prism continues to surprise and amaze me! Per our conversations, I was hoping you might briefly describe how to analyze and compensate for sensor tilt and collimation errors. Maybe a tutorial video? Your tutorials are REALLY helpful.

Thanks so much in advance!

Re: Focuser Q...

Just an FYI: I'm using a FeatherTouch 3" Focuser with the BOSS II Kit and the HSM High-Torque stepper - In addition to that, I'm using a ASCOM/EQMOD (for my EQ8) and kept getting problems with the Focuser responding through Prism. The problem isn't Prism and its connection to the focuser through it'...

Re: Focuser Q...

Holy Moley! The "Direct" Method sounds AMAZING! I can't wait to try it...

Quick Question: When does Prism plan to become self-aware and take over SkyNet?

I just want to make sure to move to Fiji before then.

Re: Skychart - Field of view indicator setup

Hamza - thanks for finding those dimensions out for my ASI071 - I went to the http://www.blackwaterskies.co.uk/imaging-toolbox/ link you gave me and got the details for all my gear... Now I have so much information, I'm dangerous!

Re: Cardinal points

Or you could just point me at the menu/form where it's handled and I can probably figure it out - once I get more caffeine!

Re: Cardinal points

Maybe this isn't the correct topic to discuss the subject, but how is Meridian Flip handled in Prism? I know that's a big open-ended question - maybe it's better answered with a 5 minute video tutorial? ( Hamza: put that on your list of things to do  )

Thanks in advance!

Ok, this is getting to be ridiculous! I'm starting to believe you (and Cyril) have magical powers... Oh right, it's prism! and great equipment, and expert knowledge, and experience, and patience, and probably a whole bunch of other things I'm working on getting myself

OK Cyril... first of all that image is STUNNING!
Second... I've been in the software engineering business for about 30 years and I've never seen software more full of Useful Features than prism.

Thanks so much and Great job on building an amazing system!

Re: Skychart - Field of view indicator setup

Hamza, A couple of questions regarding FOV indicator setup - The camera I have is not listed in the CCD Camera list (at least not yet), and to setup a "User defined CCD" I need to know the Height and Width of the sensor, however my manufacturer only lists the diagonal size of the sensor. How do we g...
