How is that done? The program allows the import of one file at a time. I have a file folder of 12 images that I’d like to stack etc.

Re: Selecting For Paramount
Hi Hamza, Happy to help others who run into this problem. I have a Paramount MyT mount and I was having difficulty getting Prism to connect to my mount as the MyT wasn't showing up in the choices panel for mounts. On the Bisque website there is a download called "ASCOM 2X Mount Adapter Installer. I ...

Selecting For Paramount
Just purchased a Paramount MyT. Although I have it on the pier and can turn it on, I can't use it until I receive some counterweights and go through the balancing procedure. Using SkyX I'm able to connect to the mount, camera, focuser etc. What selection for "Telescope" should I use when connecting ...

Hamza, your latest video "Quick Imaging Setup" is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for putting it together as I now have a format that I can follow in taking astrophotographs. As a relative new-comer to astrophotography, I was having difficulty figuring out what steps to take and also the or...

I'm using an SBIG STF8300C camera on my 11" SCT and I'm getting a lot of noise in the downloaded images. Since I assumed it's a camera problem, I contacted the SBIG site and asked for advice. In response I was asked if I was sufficiently cooling the camera (which I am) and whether I was using "Dark ...

Order of Operation
If one wishes to photograph M42 using an OIII filter, what is the proper procedure? Should you do focusing and plate solving first and then add the filter or will both focusing and plate solving work just fine with the filter in place?

Re: Focuser Question
Hi Hamza, I think I fixed it but I'm not sure how. I spent some time today (cloudy and snowing as usual) to read the manual, going through the setup procedure one step at a time. I now have the focus panel up on my screen and the CCD camera panel (at the bottom) says guiding: SBIG camera relays guid...

Focuser Question
Hi Hamza, Thanks for the new video on automation. It's a great help. I have a Moonlight Focuser and a SBIG STF8300C camera which is plugged into the ST4 port on my Skywatcher EQ 6 mount. When I do the hardware setup for the focuser I have two options - "None" or "ASCOM". I know the focuser is ASCOM ...

Re: Image Display Issue...
Interesting!
I also was wondering why my images showed a lot of noise and being a newbie couldn't understand why. I've gone to "Image Display" and into "Stellar Image Type" as suggested. What would reasonable settings be? Currently the numbers are 95 and 5.

Since Prism allows for remote operation, I'd like to be able to turn things like the mount, camera and other peripherals on and off using Prism.
