Re: Prism and Celestron GGX-L mount

I am not terribly knowledgeable about things like drivers and where they are stored. I have struggled myself on some things but have managed to get up and running. I will help you as much as I can. It sounds like you are up and running with your mount or are you still having issues?

Re: Prism and Celestron GGX-L mount

Hi Jelake, I might be able to help you. I have the same mount I bought last June. I have no problem running it with Prism so yes it does work. When you go into settings, hardware setup do you see this screen?
Choose ASCOM compliant then choose telescope mount.

I did try on some other stars I will try more on several more subs. Maybe this is why I have trouble batch registering pictures because they are too out of focus with each other?

How would I measure the stars? Is that covered in one of your videos? If so direct me so you don't have to explain here. If the focus is bad would that give me the error message shown?

Re: Filter Names

So in one spot on my computer it says the EFW does not need a driver but on the ZWO website it has a driver for the EFW. I installed that and what do you know? Presto I have the edit button and now my filters are named. Sweet!! Thank you, John.

It is not working. When I try to connect the 1600 as an ASCOM I need to choose what kind of camera and the only options are simulators. If I leave it blank then the camera does not connect.
