Re: GPS issue
I may be able to help you. You could send actual geographic coordinates (expected results according to you) as well as MNEA-0183 data stream output..
My built-in arduino GPS MNEA device works correctly with the Prism 10.3.65.505. ver Win 10 op.sys.

Re: image deduction
First step: In the Prism, I open the reference image and put a test image. The images are centered on the atmosphere and optical distortion and other inaccuracies are not the same. ref1_and_2photo.png Second: Second: In the Processing / Image to Image Math menu, I select Substraction. substarction....

Re: astrometry.net improvements
I am very happy with this writing. I built linux own sextractor - astrometry and hotpants packages. I wrote for Windows using c # astrometry.net api, contact (Dustin help astrometry.net) which automatically builds a database of objects from images. Re: Fits orientation
I think it is important to mention that after image astrometry processing the page display should be correct and the setup should be set according to the Setup / Software setting / CCD-Telescope tab Direct orientation according to the telescope type.

Re: Integer vs floating point capture
We have reviewed what you have described. I'm using an ATIK 383L + 16 bit ccd camera. First: I checked my image for the usual fits test. The Prism Fits header contains 16 bits and the maximum ADU pixel value is 65535. Prism_16 bit.png Under Linux with Siril, the test image data is 16 bit color depth...

Re: Fits orientation
I'll be writing to Dustin, the developer of astrometry.net. The orientation of the image running on Windows is included in the new.fits HUD data that you can see in my perception database program. red line indicates MyObserverImageOrientatio.png In the prism, after successful astrometry, turn on mir...

I'm also affected by the cloud sensor solution's automated supernova patrol.
I look forward to reading the improved AAG protocol.

Hi! Please read my posted link. http://www.prism-astro.com/forum_us/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=468 Based on these you can see that I am starting my own electronics control program. Ring galaxy observer list
With the ever shorter winter foggy nights, I think a lot of us are planning the sighting lists for the next period... I want to give you some help and some ideas. I created a list of ring galaxies in the Observation Ring Galaxyes list by Jimi Lowrey in Prism. ObservingRingGalaxyBook.jpg Gyűrű_galaxi...

Re: Passing the MyFocuser text parameter
ASCOM has a text send command, but Prism exclusively uses the COM port during use. Therefore, it would be appropriate for Prism to be able to pass the ASCOM command to the text box. There are many options and many other hardware you can use. Many options and many other hardware are available. I reco...
