Just to be sure, you mean that COM port number is not kept / written somewhere.
Does this happens when you do a close-restart prism software cycle, or just opening-setting-closing-opening cycle of the telescope setup window ?
In both case I think this can be fixed.

You can uninstall Prism, and have the database registry cleaned.
Regarding the key since this is the same PC, and if you do not change in between motherboard, it will simply be a key recall, and nothing will be decremented.

Re: Photometry
1. In using photometry, once the data is in the popup on the screen, one can select copy (see image in prior posting). If I paste the saved data in an editor, I note that copy only contains the data up to S/N. The actual magnitude is not copied. This must be a bug. Could you please send a screen co...

This needs to be implemented ...The UCAC4 catalog has the data from the APASS filter set B,V, g', r', i', not just V
I've heard that UCAC4 is not the best catalog for photometry. If you have information on that, this would be welcome.

Re: Prism Sky Chart Star colors display
I would love to see screen copies.
If default star catalog is set, i.e BSC only, double star is colored and visible properly.
If you add other star catalog then simply overlay each other, and in the end the star to loose color because some catalog does not have this information.
