Hello,

I've been very much looking forward to the advanced version of Prism as I have a dual scope setup and no software to run it with dithering. I've programmed a workable solution by synchronising two instances of Sequence Generator Pro but it's far from ideal so hopefully this will be the way forward.

Before I plunge into it though I just quickly wanted to check if my setup will work with the advanced version. I have the following:

- Avalon Linear Fast Reverse Mount
- Scope 1: Tak FSQ 85, Lakeside focuser, Moravian G2-8300 + internal filter wheel, OAG, Lodestar X2 Guide Camera
- Scope 2: WO Star 71, Lakeside focuser, Moravian G-8300 + internal filter wheel

What I would hope for is guiding through the OAG and Lodestar, filter changes, synchronised exposures of both main cameras with dithering in between exposures and automated focusing of both scopes as required by temperature or filter changes.

Will this be achievable?

Thanks,

Mike

Good afternoon Mike

Yes, it is absolutely achievable with the advanced version of Prism. One of the biggest strengths of Prism is that we use a single solution to run the entire setup including: mount, camera(s), focuser(s), filter wheel(s), ROR/Dome, power switches, rotators, GPS,cloud sensors and weather station without leaving a single software :)

Please let me know if you have any further questions/comment, i will be delighted to assist.

Thank you very much for your inquiry.

I have just started evaluating Prism via the free period and one of the first questions I have is regarding differences between Pro and Advances versions: what are the Advanced versions 'advanced functions' listed in the webpage comparison table?

Cheers,
Bernard
