I have tried twice to create a pointing model and both times I have aborted the model because of the low success rate plate solving.
The first time it only solved about 20% of the points and the second it didn't solve any..
I currently plate solve with a ZWO 120 and a 9x50 Celestron finder scope. For the pointing model I am using an STF8300 on a C-11 at f/10.
The pointing model doesn't ask for any camera pixel size or array or focal length info, or direct you to supply this information using the analysis / plate solve menu.
If it is using this information, it will not get good results since the analysis / plate solve is set up for the finder.
any thoughts

can you please post screenshots of the settings you used? I am sure it is something that can be resolved
