Hi All,
Okay, I've been studying the manual watching the video's on the Skychart and I've been waiting for an Ah-Ha moment. I guess I'm just not getting it.
Maybe it's because I'm used to being on the ground looking up rather than in the sky looking down. I'm more used to programs like Stellarium, etc.
I just do not understand where I am in relationship to a target in the Skychart. I get how to use the program, moving to targets, FOV, etc. Does invoking the "Z" zenith command place me at MY zenith, based on the GPS coordinates I've entered in the location tab?
Thanks

Understanding the Skychart
Okay, I've had my Ah-Ha moment... All you need to actually do is visualize yourself facing whatever cardinal direction that is chosen to be at the bottom of the sky chart and place yourself looking up. Now the cardinal directions are correct.
Thanks for the help!
