I'm using an Orion StarShooter autoguider. When trying to calibrate, it fails every time.
Tried many different settings for RA and DEC move time. Tried "don't do centroiding" Tried both Auto star/field detection and manual selection of guide star also.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. My G11 mount tracks quite well. PHD2 reports less than .5 arc sec variation most of the time.
DEC (calibration reference as degrees) seems to change each time I try to calibrate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

typically it is Dec backlash that causes problems, guider calibration is quite straightforward and can only be done one time unless you rotate or change your guider. Just increase the calibration time in Dec and you should be fine. set the RA calibration to 10 seconds and dec to 20.
