Hi ,
I bought PRISM several months ago and I was not able to run a full automated process to capture some pictures with PRSIM.
The issue I can't handle with is the guiding. PRISM is not able to calibrate the guiding. PHD2 has no problem with it.
Any suggestions?
The mount is an EQ8 via EQMOD, the guiding cam an ATIK GPGuider.
Kind regards Stefan.

Hello Stefan
I had the same mount for months and guided with zero issues. Can you please try and calibrate the mount and share some screenshots with us? Pictures and videos are always better for troubleshooting

Hello Hamza,
the guiding calibration issue is solved, but the automatic process is not able to start.
I've attached the logfile.
Kind regards Stefan

In order to reply to your post, and be efficient and sharp, we need to know:
- Prism version
- Windows version
- In case of a “bug, the description that lead to the error, the list of action and this must be repeatable.
- All hardware list connected to the PC (telescope controller, focuser, filter wheel) if this is an hardware related issue.
- PRISM log file, see here how to enable it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRXz3Ux5OMY
- Readable screen copies, beware of low-resolution screen copies that cannot be read. Please use this tool.
https://picpick.app/en/
Even better, use video capture tool like : https://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/index.html
Please no screenshots with a smartphone, this is very difficult to read.
The more we have information, the more we can reproduce the issue and solve it. Using telegraphic writing style cannot help us.
Do not put big files in this forum, you will not be allowed to do so. You can share big files with a lot of free services, like:
- dropbow, Wetransfert, onedrive.

Rgds,
Hi Cyril,
after starting a new try I have taken a video. Everything was running but the focus does not worked as expected. You can see it in the video at min 4:20. The focuser is running to zero, I don't know why.

Kind regards Stefan

I need the actual PRISM log that is present in C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Prism\LogFiles. Something important to note here: One needs to be careful about enabling the extent of logging, this will cause the file to ginormous.

Hello Hamza,
without any Log's the direct autofocus is not running. The problem is the plate solving. I was never able to plate solve an image with the internal engine, astronomy.net only. After platesolving the image with astronomy.net an sync the telescope I've tried to do direct autofocusing, with the result platesolve not possible due to pointing accuracy. That can't be.
Kind regards Stefan
