Nice to use the excellent Prism software!

I made a lot of hardware and software that I use in automatic observatory mode.
  • Homemade MNEA-0183 Arduino GPS
  • Lacrosse Weather Station has connected the cumulus web server
  • Hydreon optical rain sensor
  • Homemade Boltwood II. cloud sensor
  • Homemade Sky IR Arduino Thermometer
  • StarLightExpress and ATIK383L CCD
  • Homemade Arduino MyFocuserPro2 autofocus
  • Homemade Flatbox
  • Homemade Arduino power relay box
  • Homemade Arduino power pillar box
  • Homemade ROF Observatory
  • Fornax51 mount MC3 motor driver
...

The focus point has an I2C bus LCD. You can turn the screen on and off in the Windows application. Sends focus using the "LCD Enable status : :361# or LCD Disabled status : :360# " COM port.

It is important to turn off the LCDs when taking a ccd photo! The serial port is exclusively connected to the prism when used.
It would be nice to have a text field where the sent message is sent to focuser COM port.
I'll show you a self-made example of a relay controller that I mean.

The attached image is a red square.

Is this possible?
What's the opinion?

Hi Cyril!

No. You can turn off the monitor with a check box during exposure CCD camera form. This is a telescope control box with LCD display. Visit the shared video pls.

In Ascom, you can turn the LCD display on and off. Sends an on / off command on the exclusive open COM port.

This can be done by sending a free text message to a new page. It can be a good solution for a lot of settings and I think for other device devices.

I used this in the relay control program. First attached picture.

I'm sorry for bad english, not my language.

Thank you very much!

ASCOM has a send text command to do so ?
I'm not so familiar with this.

ASCOM has a text send command, but Prism exclusively uses the COM port during use.
Therefore, it would be appropriate for Prism to be able to pass the ASCOM command to the text box.

There are many options and many other hardware you can use.

Many options and many other hardware are available.
I recommend it with over 20 years of Delphi, c # and c ++ software and hardware development experience

To do ASCOM has a send text command Meade Telescope Serial Command Protocol Meade Telescope Serial Command Protocol link:

Hi everyone!

Interested in possibly adding a software update version to your requested option?

Sorry, terrible English is not my language.
