I have never written any script, would someone help me write one to tell Prism to take a series of darks (30s, 60s, 120s, ...) at a given temp and then execute to take all of them of the requested darks and save them.

well, here is what I do and it will work great for you, this will work with or without a camera shutter.
- Close the shutter if you have one in the camera control window under the camera ta " Shutter MUST stay closed on exposure. If you don't have a shutter, just put the cap on
- In the camera control window, press Sequence
- Fill in the exposures names like "Darks 30s", "Darks 60s", etc.. binning and number of frames as well
- The default saving folder can be changed under software settings > CCD Camera recording > base path for night image folder

This is indeed also the way i take darks / flats. Use the sequence option and it will work like a charm.
