Software upgrades
PRISM has an automated upgrade system. Nevertheless, for some reasons (such as no internet connection) it will be required to perform updates "manually".

Folder where PRISM.EXE is located, is mentioned as [InstallDir]. For instance, it can be set such as [InstallDir] = "C:\program files\Prismv8\".

Warning, PRiSM software shall not run while upgrading otherwise replacing manually files cannot be performed, Windows will prevent you from doing so.

You must have administrator rights to perform these updates, and override UAC questions.

For all ASCOM-STANDARD drivers, you have to get there and download appropriate drivers, or go to hardware manufacturer web's site.

PRISM is using DLL plugins mechanism to handle some telescope hardware. This is deprecated for new hardware, but still being used for older hardware.
