Just tried to make a script to take flats with a pre-defined set of exposure times (useful for using an ELP rather than sky flats). See attached

I have to say it was easier than I thought...
I see the scripting language is a little like BASIC so it was trip down memory lane (35 years or so?). I have coded in a variety of languages since, but have never got to grips with object-oriented appreciate the 'quick-and-dirty', very high level approach (bit like Matlab etc..)

It has only been tested with simulated kit so I have yet to try it 'in the field', but I am hopeful it will be useable

Good morning Kevin

This is great to see somebody using our scripting language to design their own functions, I really appreciate you sharing this script. I am sure other will benefit from it.

Thanks again.

nice script.

Note that there is a way to take flats in PRISM (menu Observatory / taking Calibration / Acquiring Flats), where exposure time is automatically adjusted in case of sky flats.
